We're back after a week break. That live podcast took it out of us lazy bastards. Episode 51 talks about Voice recognition, the iPhone's faults, search engine nostalgia, MacBook Air fetish, Web Kit, some apps, and a Brisbane MacTalk Meet. Full show notes on the forums.

Looking for a slightly heavier duty external hard drive? I needed a 1TB for my day-to-day “media” - iTunes, HD TV, multichannel home recording & video. The My Book Studio 1TB with USB/FW400/800/eSATA ticked all the boxes, came Mac formatted, with Mac friendly software and looks like part of my iMac. Highly Recommended.

Books are dead trees, pulped, and then using a lithographic process, have text placed on them. The pages are then bound, placed into boxes and shipped to a warehouse. From the warehouse they go to shops. You buy things in shops. Usually in return for money. Money is what you get in return for work. Work can be turning tricks on the street corner or coding iPhone apps.

These books, titled PORTABLE GENIUS, can be purchased, at a shop, with money, that you obtained from your job. To decide whether these dead trees are worth money, I have written an amusing review. Please consider.

Never ever say MacTalk isn't a professional outfit. We are auteurs in our professed fields and WILL NOT accept any sort of suggestion that we do not know what we're talking about. The reputation of our names and our website is of HIGH importance and we are serious about high editorial and journalistic integrity in the realm of Apple and Mac news.

That said, I bring to you, a review of Leggo's Sweet Mustard Sandwich Pickles. The most delicious review I've undertaken here at MacTalk. Enjoy.

MissionMan takes a good look at Parallels 4.0 - the latest version of the virtualisation package from our Russian friends. He tells us what is new in version 4.0 and gives us his opinion on the new features. A good read for those wondering what Parallels is up to these days.

Can Touch This was full of iPhone app action. Joel takes a look at two games, Fieldrunners and Topple. Gavin reviews Pennies and Rhiannon tells is about Flickup and Datacase.

Over on One More Thing, Daniel looks at the MAXPower USB Wi-Fi adaptor, Matthew reviews the AirJacket iPhone 3G case and Grant gives the Ultimate Ears super.fi 4 vi earphones a workout.

DMG Control was pretty quiet, with Athol and I looking at MobileMe and FaceBook Exporter for iPhoto respectively.
